Microsoft Partner Network RequirementsThe New Microsoft Partner Network is focussed on competencies in order to provide more granular division of partner skills. Now, instead of simply being Registered, Silver or Gold in status - A Partner organisation needs to achieve a certification level in at least one competency - depending on the certification level, either Silver or Gold status is achieved in that competency.
There are a total of 28 competencies, defined as either Silver or Gold, enabling partner organisations to be more focussed on their inherent skills and capabilities and offering the ability to differentiate from the competition. Each competency has certain requirements to be met in order to attain the competency. The areas of focus are: - Technical Certification (MCP Skills) - Revenue Goals (for Gold competency status) - Business Assessments (Sales and Marketing certifications) - Customer References (Proof of capability) How we can help you!The new competency model has introduced a level of complexity in the renewal process.
